Eir puts its money on new chairman from Ladbrokes Coral

Carl Leaver takes over from Padraig McManus who steps down after almost five years in the role

Eir has announced its new chairman who will take over from Padraig McManus in September this year.

Carl Leaver was chief executive officer of Gala Coral Group from November 2010 to November 2016, where he saw the business through a successful merger with Ladbrokes. He is currently executive deputy chairman of the combined business Ladbrokes Coral Group.
