The decisions reached won’t please everyone, but it is important to have a defined pathway to follow, rather than endless haggling over figures
The publication of the government’s targets to reduce emissions across the economy has divided opinion. Farmers believe that the 25 per cent emissions reduction target for agriculture will ruin their livelihoods.
