The Dutch boss of a company which was last week refused permission to build a wind farm beside Aidan O’Brien’s Coolmore Stud has said: “We never give up.”

Arjen Ploeg is the chief executive of DunoAir, which wants to build eight three-megawatt wind turbines in Co Tipperary. The company said the project will generate enough power for around 15,000 homes.
