Diversity is expected to be a huge topic at the 2019 BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition, based on the list of entries.

The event, which sees schoolchildren from across the island demonstrate projects in the RDS in Dublin, has a noticeably high number of entries this year focused on areas around race and gender.
