Developer McKillen to challenge €300m IBRC wind-up bill

Plans to compare fees paid to KPMG with cost of Lehman Brothers administrators

Developer Paddy McKillen sr has announced a High Court challenge to the estimated €300 million costs paid to the special liquidators of IBRC.

McKillen has issued a plenary summons against the Department of Finance and the Attorney General in relation to the matter.

He plans to compare the fees paid to KPMG, the special liquidators of IBRC, to that of the administrators of Lehman Brothers, where an external committee was set up to oversee spending...
