Denis O'Brien pulls sale of Portuguese golf resort

Billionaire had sought €220 million for Quinta do Lago

Denis O'Brien is worth $4.2 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index

Denis O’Brien has halted the sale of Quinta do Lago, an exclusive resort in Portugal, for now after bids fell short of the asking price.

O’Brien was seeking about €220 million for the resort, according to sources. A spokesman for O’Brien in Dublin declined to comment.
