Delta forced to cancel more flights after shutdown

Investigations into network failure at base are continuing

US airline Delta today entered the second day of disruption caused by one of its worst system failures by cancelling more than 300 flights. The carrier is struggling to accommodate customers and determine what went wrong.

In a statement, Delta said it was still attempting to “reset the operation” and get crews, aircraft and other operations in place. Travellers were warned to expect delays and check flight status on the company’s website or mobile app....
