The Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (ODCE) has begun legal proceedings against Leslie Buckley, the chairman of Independent News & Media (INM), over documents held by the veteran businessman.

An application was made in the High Court last week to determine whether legal privilege applies to certain documents being sought by the corporate enforcement watchdog from Buckley.
