Click-and-collect model set to give boost to online shopping
Irish retailers are preparing for a significant shift in how consumers shop online, according to new research.
The study, commissioned by Barclays retail and wholesale banking sector team, suggests that a ‘click and collect’ e-commerce model, whereby customers buy or order goods online and then collect them from a local store, looks set to become more popular.
