Can economy deliver increase in housing supply?

A large number of the workers required to build the extra homes will have to come from abroad, the ESRI warns in a new report

Overall, author Kieran McQuinn finds that the economy “is not unduly constrained” at the moment, as employment in the construction sector is still quite low compared with levels seen over the past 20 years.
