Limerick private hospital expected to fetch €15 million in sale to hospital group

Bon Secours, the Cork-based private hospital owned by the Roman Catholic Bon Secours sisters, is in advanced talks to buy Barrington’s Hospital in Limerick for about €15 million.

According to an informed source, PWC has been carrying out due diligence with a view to acquiring the hospital from its owner, Paul O’Byrne.

Bon Secours is understood to also be considering a €10 million expansion plan for the hospital if it successfully...
