A Fianna Fáil TD has said that the building firm behind the National Children’s Hospital was “renowned for [its] ability to claim extra on original tender prices”.

Kerry TD John Brassil, who is a former engineer on construction sites for 15 years, made his comments at the Oireachtas Health committee last week.
