Aughinish in court fight for return of €15m in state aid case

Aughinish is joined to the case taken by the Irish government against the European Commission.

Aughinish Alumina is heading to the European courts to fight a state aid case that has required the company to hand over €15 million to the government.

Aughinish, which was close to collapse last year after the US government placed sanctions on its billionaire Russian owner, is joined to the case taken by the Irish government against the European Commission.
