Artist Le Brocquy leaves estate valued at €6.48m: Unsold works by Dublin painter are worth millions

Irish artist Louis Le Brocquy, who died in 2012, left an estate valued at almost €6.5 million in his will.

Records filed at the Probate Office show that the Dublin-born artist left €6,483,596. Le Brocquy died on April 25, 2012, at the age of 95. He was the first painter to be included, during his lifetime, in the permanent Irish collection of the National Gallery of Ireland.
