Modern architect Ronnie Tallon left €5,879,235 in his will, it has emerged.

Tallon, who died two years ago at the age of 87, co-founded the firm Scott Tallon Walker with Michael Scott, Patrick Scott and Robin Walker in 1959.

The modernist architecture of the firm shaped Dublin in the 1960s and 1970s. Notable designs include the RTÉ studios, Bank of Ireland headquarters on Baggot Street, and the Abbey Theatre.
