Applegreen’s plan to build Ireland’s largest motorway service station has hit a roadblock after Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) appealed the plan to An Bord Pleanála, claiming it will cause traffic chaos.

TII - formerly the NRA - is among a number of bodies to appeal Kildare County Council’s decision to give Applegreen permission to build a motorway service station, including a variety of restaurants, a three-storey global training office...
