Amazon to create 500 new jobs in Dublin

The internet shopping giant will expand over the next two years

The company, which already employs more than 1,700 workers in Dublin and Cork, is recruiting data centre technicians, software engineers and customer support staff to service its online retail arm and its data storage unit, Amazon web services.

Amazon, which first located in Ireland in 2004, announced plans to create 300 new jobs in 2014 which it filled ahead of scheduled and said access to talent, infrastructure and the ease of doing business in Ireland...
