“I don’t want to say we’ve cracked America, but we’ve cracked America,” said Dermot Smurfit jnr, chief executive of Irish gaming company GAN.

In June last year, Smurfit moved with his family to Las Vegas to expand the company and strike deals with casinos in the US on their regulated real-money online gaming sites and simulated virtual gaming sites.
