September! And where are we? According to aWashington Post-ABC News poll released last Wednesday, 56 per cent of Americans have an unfavourable impression of Hillary Clinton.

It is a record high, or low, according to thePost.

DonaldTrump is still more unpopular overall, the paper observed, hovering at 63 per cent to Clinton’s 56 per cent, but the split between registered voters is negligible: 59 per cent Clinton, 60 per cent Trump.

“Clinton's numbers serve as a reminder that Trump's unpopularity isn't prohibitive, largely because Americans — and specifically registered voters — don't much like Clinton either,”Aaron Blake wrote.
