Crossing the Seán O’Casey bridge in Dublin the other evening, I almost bumped into a woman who was walking along while staring intently at something in her hand.

I assumed that she was another convert to Pokémon Go. Pokémon Go combines the mental act of solving a puzzle with the physical act of moving around. In that sense, it’s the 21st century Rubik’s Cube, a tactile intellectual challenge.
