The Mandate trade union has agreed to suspend its planned industrial action at

supermarket giant Tesco.

The move follows an invitation to talks at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC). The union said the WRC had invited it and Tesco Ireland into conciliation talks next Wednesday in an effort to resolve the ongoing dispute over changes in pay and conditions for longer-serving staff.
