Social Democrats co-founder Stephen Donnelly has defended his low attendance record at one of the Dáil’s most influential committees.

The Wicklow TD had one of the worst attendance rates last year at the Oireachtas Finance committee last year, with official records showing he was only present at six out of 27 meetings.
