There will be sweeping changes to the Irish Olympic empire built by Pat Hickey following the Rio ticketing controversy.

The government has indicated it expects an overhaul at the Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI), and grassroots sporting federations are now demanding radical change with Hickey’s long presidency seemingly at an end.
