Smurfit Kappa buys two Brazilian packaging firms for €186 million

The packaging firm said the deal would immediately boost earnings

Smurfit Kappa said it has acquired two paper-based packaging businesses in Brazil for a total of €186 million.

The packaging company said that Industria de Embalagens Santana and Paema Embalagens have three recycled containerboard mills with a total capacity of 210,000 tonnes and four corrugated facilities, serving the northeast and south of Brazil.
