Smurfit Kappa admitted to FTSE 250 and All Share Indices
Packaging group also on reserve list for FTSE 100 index
The FTSE has confirmed thatSmurfit Kappa will be included as a constituent of the FTSE 250 and FTSE All Share Indices in a fortnight.
Group CEO Tony Smurfit commented "We expect our inclusion in the FTSE AllShare to provide an incremental benefit to our shareholders.
"Over time, our new dual listing arrangement should widen the base of investors eligible to invest in the Group while further strengthening the liquidity in our shares.”
Smurfit Kappa Group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of paper-based packaging products, with operations in Europe and the Americas.
