A Belfast private healthcare group, which last year bought St Joseph’s Hospital in Sligo, is exploring the potential to launch a health insurance plan in the Republic.
Mark Regan, chief executive of the 3fivetwo group’s flagship hospital Kingsbridge in Belfast and group development director, said that it hoped to launch a private health insurance plan for people living near the rebranded Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo, as opposed to a mass market pitch.
