SF: deadline for banking inquiry report impossible
Finance spokesman threatens to reject new draft of report
Pearse Doherty, the Sinn Féin finance spokesman and banking inquiry member, has said that the inquiry is “working under an impossible timeline” and that expecting members to sign off on a report under such pressure is “crazy stuff”.
Doherty also raised the possibility that he may not sign off on a revised report, which is being written after members threatened not to sign a first draft delivered to the committee earlier this month.
