Russian Blackjack bombers entered Irish airspace last week

Two Russian Blackjack bombers capable of carrying nuclear missiles flew into Irish-controlled airspace last week.

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) confirmed it had monitored the activity of the Russian aircraft. There was no safety impact to Irish-controlled civilian traffic, it said.
