Residential market still lagging behind office sector

The government needs to back up rhetoric with concrete solutions to get house construction under way

The Irish investment market looks set for about €3 billion in property deals this year, and the first half of the year could deliver about €2 billion of those deals. This was one of the points made by Marie Hunt, executive director and head of research at CBRE Ireland, at The Sunday Business Post Property Summit last week.
