FG down by 2 points to 30 per cent; Fianna Fail up to 19 per cent

The steady rise in support for Fine Gael seen in the second half of last year has stopped abruptly, according to the first Red C tracking poll of the new year.

After months of steady gains, support for Fine Gael falls by two points today to 30 per cent, while Fianna Fail will be boosted at its ard fheis this weekend with the news that its support has increased by two points to 19 per cent.
