SIPTU has today denied reports of an "imminent ballot for strike action" by Luas security workers.

News reports had earlier claimed that staff of STT Risk Management -- which provides security for Luas services -- were set to add to the industrial relations difficulties over the light rail service by voting on the prospect of strike action.
