Finance Minister Michael Noonan has said the Government will probably hold off selling a stake in AIB until the first half of 2017.

The minister told reporters in Dublin today that the Government was waiting until it could get the best value for the taxpayer. 'It's less likely we’ll go in the fourth quarter' of 2016, he said. 'It’s to do with market conditions. We don’t need to cash out.'
