Labour is in government to provide balance: Joan Burton

Tánaiste Joan Burton has insisted that Labour is required in government alongside Fine Gael to provide “balance”.

In her televised national address, Burton pointed to Labour’s achievements in getting Fine Gael to prioritise USC reductions for low and middle income workers, to restore the minimum wage and to hold the marriage equality referendum.
