O’Doherty has accused media group of defaming her
Investigative journalist Gemma O’Doherty has begun a new defamation action against her former employer, Independent News & Media.
Doherty has appointed Paul Tweed of Johnson Solicitors to represent her after the publication last weekend of an article in the Sunday Independent headlined: “Second garda denies Mary Boyle cover-up.”
