Irish wind energy company secures €100m Japanese investment
Irish wind and solar energy developer Mainstream Renewable Power has secured a €100 million equity investment from Japanese company Marubeni Corporation.
Irish wind and solar energy developer Mainstream Renewable Power has secured a €100 million equity investment from Japanese company Marubeni Corporation.
The deal will see Marubeni take a 25 per cent holding in Mainstream, subject to shareholder approval, and represents the largest single equity investment in the company’s five and a half year history, it said in a statement.
