A group of Irish film-makers are planning to produce the first-ever feature-length virtual reality (VR) movie. The project is an effort to explore the potential and limitations of the technology.

Joanna, a dark comedy built around revenge, is adapted from a stage play. Dr Abraham Campbell, of the UCD School of Computer Science, came up with the idea to adapt it for a virtual reality experience after seeing it in a small theatre.
