Ikea's Irish store rakes in €2.5 million in cash each week
Profits double at Swedish home furnishings superstore
The tills at Ikea’s only Irish store in Ballymun in north Dublin were ringing to the tune of €2.5 million every week last year and its profits almost doubled.
Newly-filed figures for the Swedishhome furnishings giant show its revenue hit a record of almost €132 million in the year to end the of August last. That’s an increase of more than 17 per cent on the previous year.
