First Person: Sean Lynch artist, Limerick

Artist Sean Lynch represented Ireland last year at the 54th Venice Biennale. His artwork shines a light on hitherto forgotten historical subjects, objects or events of cultural significance. During 2016, his Adventure: Capital exhibition will tour Ireland, beginning in Limerick City Gallery of Art on January 21. It is being hailed by critics as essential viewing.
