EI to launch venture fund with universities

Enterprise Ireland is set to team up with private sector funders and the innovation and commercialisation teams from University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin to launch a new venture capital fund.

The fund is expected to be launched in the coming weeks with private sector investment from Atlantic Bridge, the highly successful Irish private equity firm which is reportedly backed by tycoons Denis O’Brien and Dermot Desmond.
