Friends First economist Jim Power has said the outlook for the Irish economy is still positive, despite the uncertainty caused by Britain's vote to leave the EU.

In an economic outlook published today, the economist said last year's strong, broad-based economic recovery had continued into 2016, but there were some"tentative signs" that growth was easing.
