Dubai Duty Free planning new €15 million Irish Village
New 20,440 square metre complex features kilometre-long waterfront
Dubai Duty Free, one of the world’s largest retailers, is spending €15 million on a second Irish-themed leisure district in Dubai.
The new 20,440 square metre Irish Village will be part of Dubai Parks, a new theme park which is set to open in October and that features a kilometre-long waterfront.
Dubai Duty Free, which is headed by Galway businessman Colm McLoughlin, has recruited Bob Geldof to launch the new Irish Village.
