Doing it for the kids isn’t paying off for 2FM

RTÉ keeps trying to prove that it is down with the kids, but it seems that the strategy is just not working.

In the past year, 2FM has lost 58,000 listeners, according to the Joint National Listenership Research (JNLR) survey for July 2015 to June 2016. The station has been trying to target the 15-24-year-old audience, a demographic that is deeply distracted by everything from Spotify to Snapchat.
