Comedian O’Carroll is sued over film

Irish comedian Brendan O’Carroll is being sued by a former business associate over €150,000 used to fund an ill-fated film project.

Mervyn Rundle, who received €250,000 compensation from the Catholic Church in 2003 for clerical sex abuse, advanced O’Carroll €150,000 to help fund the production of a film titled Sparrow’s Trap.
