Apache Pizza, the Irish-owned pizza chain, plans to open 200 outlets across Britain as part of a major expansion plan.

The company, led by the Dublin entrepreneur Robert Pendleton, intends to roll out its franchise model in Britain, with the aim of opening 200 outlets by 2018.

The company is already expanding in the North, where Pendleton expects to open eight new branches this year.
