French software firm Axway acquires Vordel
French software firm Axway has acquired Dublin-based Vordel for an undisclosed amount.
Vordel, which was founded by Vic Morris, enables enterprises to deliver APIs to cloud and mobile. Axway said the transaction will be funded through its existing bank credit line. It said that the acquisition is expected to be accretive to Axway within the first year and it expects revenue synergies from the deal.
"I am delighted that Vordel is to become part of the Axway family,” said Morris. “There is a natural synergy between the two companies, and our respective customers will benefit enormously from this combination of technologies.”
