Enterprise Ireland: high potential start ups to create 1,600 jobs
More than 1,600 new jobs are to be created by 97 new start-up companies supported by Enterprise Ireland in 2012.
The companies, which are part of the government agency’s high potential start-up unit, are set to generate over €300 million in annual sales and operate in a wide range of sectors including financial services, ICT, games, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Enterprise Ireland’s High Potential Start Ups Showcase, at which the statistics were announced by Minister for Small Business John Perry, also featured the 60 early stage entrepreneurs who have been supported by the Enterprise Ireland Competitive Start Fund.
