Quango bosses to fall under public pay cap radar
Pay rates in both the commercial and non-commercial state bodies vary considerably, according to new tables obtained by The Sunday Business Post. However, most non-commercial bodies - often dubbed quangos - have chief executive salaries that are below the government’s proposed public sector cap of €200,000 a year.
